The Department of Computer Applications, in association with the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), organized the World Earth Day celebration with great enthusiasm. As part of the event, a debate competition was conducted on the topic “Electric Vehicles are the Future of Sustainable Transport.” Students actively participated and presented well-informed arguments discussing environmental impacts, technological advancements, and the practicality of electric vehicles. Number of participants – 30 students The main objective of organizing the event was to create awareness about environmental protection and the need for sustainable practices among students. It aimed to encourage critical thinking on contemporary issues such as green transportation and to motivate students to explore innovative and eco-friendly alternatives. Additionally, the event sought to develop public speaking and analytical skills while fostering a sense of responsibility towards preserving the environment.
