INDUSTRIAL VISIT (BCA)

Industrial visit was carried out at Indian Institute of Science OPEN DAY 2019, Bangaloreon 23 march 2019 for IV semester BCA 56 Students. The main objective behind the visit was to make students aware about how various activities related to real time projects are carried out in the real world and give them the feel of work environment in the IISc. Head of the department Dr. T. logeswari and faculty Helaria along with students left our campus at 9.15 am to IISc reached at 10.00 am.

As soon as we reached IISc we were guided to the computer science department. The important part is explore of the different computer programming language, the security in the computer network and the E-commerce over the internet and the security over the network and many more. We visited the different computer labs like virtual reality, IOT, Voice recording app used in android, VCC etc. For live demo on the modules and was explained by the Research scholarsof IISc and our students got a change to trouble shoot the coding.The Open Day featured popular lectures, experimental demos, poster presentations, quiz contests, scientific competitions, and exhibitions that was showcased in the various department’s lab centers. A special attraction for all the younger students, with a number of science and technology demos was on display.

There were presentation given in the different labs on the different domain in the field of the computer programming and languages and the Research Scholars was happy and patient enough to address the various questions put forward by the students and appreciate staff members of IISc who guided students with each and every question in detail.

Students have got real feel of real time application, apps working after this visit. They got a chance to transfer their theoretical knowledge to practical implication. This will even help students to understand subject matter clearly.
