The Department of Commerce organised an Industrial Visit to ESS CEE Enterprises on 15/05/2026 for the students of VI Semester B.Com ‘A’ with the objective of providing practical exposure to industrial operations and business management practices. The company is located in the Peenya Industrial Area of Bengaluru.

 

During the visit, the students were introduced to the company’s functioning and its role as one of the leading printing and packaging units in the state, catering to customers worldwide. The company officials explained the organisation’s commitment towards quality, customer satisfaction, and the advanced technological practices followed in the printing and packaging industry.

 

The students were given detailed information about the various products manufactured by the company, including cartons, books, catalogues, leaflets, brochures, calendars, visual aids, paper carry bags, posters, danglers, labels, writing pads, tags, E-Flute cartons, and several other printing solutions. The officials also explained how the company provides a one-stop integrated solution for printing and packaging requirements through modern machinery and state-of-the-art technology.

 

During the industrial tour, students observed the different stages of printing, designing, packaging, labelling, cutting, finishing, and quality-checking processes carried out within the unit. They were also informed about workflow management, production planning, inventory handling, and customer relationship management practices followed by the company.

 

The interaction helped students understand the practical aspects of the printing and packaging industry and enhanced their knowledge of real-time industrial operations, technological advancements, and career opportunities in the manufacturing and printing sector. Overall, the visit was highly informative, interactive, and beneficial for the academic and professional development of the students.
