The Department of Commerce organised an Orientation Programme on Chartered Accountancy (CA) on 29th July 2026 for the students of I Sem B.COM. The session was conducted by Mr Veesam Raghu, Trainer, Institute of SAI. The programme aimed to create awareness among students about the Chartered Accountancy profession, its career prospects, eligibility criteria, course structure, examination pattern, and the skills required to pursue a successful career as a Chartered Accountant. The interactive session provided valuable insights into the opportunities available in the accounting and finance sector, encouraging students to explore CA as a promising professional career.
