Report | The Department of Commerce, in association with the Career Counselling and Guidance Cell, organised a seminar titled “Cracking Competitive Exams and Transitioning from Campus to Corporate: A Roadmap for Career Success” on 10th September 2026 for the students of First Semester B.Com. The resource persons were Mr. Vijay S, Multiple District 317, Joint Secretary, and Ms. Deekshitha, Talent Acquisition, Accenture. The session provided students with valuable guidance on competitive examinations, effective preparation strategies, time management, understanding examination patterns, and developing the right approach to succeed in competitive exams. The resource persons also highlighted the importance of communication skills, aptitude, confidence, and professional behaviour for career success. Students were encouraged to identify suitable career opportunities and prepare themselves for both competitive examinations and corporate recruitment. The session was interactive, informative, and beneficial in helping students build a clear roadmap for their future careers. |
