Objective

The “Rethink to Remake” competition is an initiative designed to inspire students to creatively revisit and improve existing ideas, products, or systems. Organized under the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), the event provides a platform for participants to showcase innovative thinking, problem-solving abilities, and practical solutions to real-world challenges. It encourages students to blend creativity with functionality while promoting sustainability and entrepreneurial mindset. Through this competition, participants gain valuable experience in idea development, critical analysis, and effective presentation.

Benefits

The Intra-Institutional Competition “Rethink to Remake” 2025-26 was conducted by the Department of Commerce, and the Institution’s Innovation Council at New Horizon College, Kasturinagar. The “Rethink to Remake” competition, held on 21/04/2026, witnessed enthusiastic participation with 15 teams and 29 students showcasing their creativity and innovative ideas. The event provided a valuable platform for participants to enhance their problem-solving, analytical, and presentation skills while fostering teamwork and entrepreneurial thinking. Through the process of redesigning and improving existing ideas, students gained practical exposure to innovation and real-world challenges. The recognition of the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners further motivated participants and encouraged a healthy competitive spirit. Overall, the competition contributed significantly to developing creativity, confidence, and innovation culture among students.
