Participants: – 8^th ,9^th and 10^th Standard students

OBJECTIVE

1. To create awareness about prevention of sexual harassment by promoting gender amity among school students.
2. To deal with cases of sexual harassment in a time bound manner and ensuring support services to prevention and termination of harassment.

An Anti-Sexual Harassment Awareness program was organized by Anti Sexual Harassment Committee of the college for students of Government High School s, Ramamurthy Nagar on 15^th June 2022 at the school premises around 60 students participated.

The main objective of program is to create awareness related to occurrence of sexual harassment guidance to prevent and promote gender amity among students. Anti-sexual Harassment committee members designed situation and message-oriented pamphlets and explained about sexual harassment and the precautionary measures to be taken by at the time of need

The program also consisted of a special performance by the committee members, who presented a skit related to problems faced by the women. Also featured in the program was a special performance by committee members who sang a song to entertain the audience.

Outcome: –

•  Students have learnt to identify sexual harassment behavior, issues and stop them. Identify the difference between sexual harassment and discrimination. They can now differentiate between right and wrong behavior.
