Awareness Program On Fire Safety Measures

To educate and train the faculty for an unforeseen emergency situation like Fire, New horizon college, Kasturi Nagar conducted awareness program on Safety measures against fire accident in College quadrangle at 3 PM on 9th December 2020 By Mr.John Jeevan,Fire Safety Officer, New Horizon Educational institution.
Objective: The main objective of the awareness program was to sensitize the staff about life saving and rescue techniques in case of fire.The event was attended by all the teaching and non- teaching staffs of the college.
Fire Safety Demonstration was given to the staff .The fire safety officer spoke about the different kinds of fire accidents and the causes of their occurrences. He shared Simple measures to be taken in case of fire emergency. Various types of fire extinguishers used for extinguishing different kinds of fire was demonstrated.
Outcome: It was a great learning experience for everyone who participated as it helped them to understand the causes of fire ,ways to combat it in an interactive manner.
