An Industrial visit to Indian Bank was organized by New Horizon College, Kasturinagar for B.Com VI Sem students
An Industrial visit to Indian Bank was organized by New Horizon College, Kasturinagar for B.Com VI Sem students on 24& 25th Jan 2017. The students were taken in batch of 10 to various branches of Indian Bank at M.G Road, Bangalore City and Tippasandra Branch. An insight about working of the bank was explained to the students on:
- Demonetization and its Impact on Indian Economy
- Account opening procedures
- Types of accounts that can be opened in the Bank
- KYC (Know your Customer) norms
- Types of loans
- NPA (Non-Performing Assets) and the recovery procedures adopted by the bank.
It was a very interactive session which resulted in increased awareness and clarity on the working of the banking structure in India.
