The main purpose of this event was to give a warm welcome to the first years and bring out their talents. The event was organised to overcome their fears with no barriers to their talent. Each student was given the opportunity to showcase their ability in a righteous way.

The fresher’s day event was hosted by the college cultural team SATRANG 2021-22 on the 13th of October 2021, 9AM onwards on the college main stage. The theme for the day was ‘Games of Cinewood’. There were various events conducted of which a western band performance by team SAARANG followed by an energetic dance performance by the college dance team NRITHYATHARANGA. Various other cultural and sports events were organised for fresher’s including the 2nd and 3rd years as well. This included throw ball for girls and volley ball for boys which were both won by the senior sports team. Talent hunt was one such event where the young and bold freshers presented their charming personalities through two rounds, namely the talent round followed by a question and answer round. Based on their skills to impress the judges and the crowd, titles of MR. and MISS. Fresher were selected. The event was judged by Mr. Kiran Phoenix, the CEO and founder of Dance 7 – The Art Factory and Mr. Bharath Raj a well-known dancer and an alumnus of the college. Amrutha bagged the title of Miss Fresher and Jay Surya Mr. Fresher. The fashion team SHOWSTOPPERS lead by Prathik Emmanuel presented to us a stunning and refreshing fashion walk amidst the unexpected rains. Students, Harshith and Divya Shri were titled as the best dressed among all the contestants in fashion walk. The winners of both sports and cultural events were felicitated by our honourable guests followed by the vote of thanks. The fresher’s day came to a halt with a spectacular DJ performance by our own student named Hemanth which was held for about an hour. By this a remarkable and disciplined event concluded.
