Description

Objectives: The seminar aimed to familiarise NHCK faculty members with publication requirements applicable to different faculty cadres, create awareness about Q-rated journals, Scopus-indexed publications and conference papers, and highlight opportunities for patent filing, research grants and funding support. It also aimed to encourage faculty participation in workshops, Faculty Development Programmes (FDPs) and research-oriented training to strengthen the research culture and promote academic excellence.

Benefits: The seminar enhanced faculty members’ understanding of publication requirements and quality research publications. It improved awareness of patent filing procedures, research grant opportunities, and the importance of participating in workshops and FDPs. The session also encouraged faculty members to strengthen their research capabilities, pursue innovative ideas, improve publication outcomes, and contribute to the research and development activities of the institution.
