An Unforgettable Pilgrimage: Experiencing the Divinity of Ayodhya and Kashi

Dr. Nagalakshmi, who has been a valued member of the New Horizon family for the past 11 years, recently embarked on a memorable spiritual journey to Ayodhya and Kashi with her colleagues. The pilgrimage was organised by New Horizon Educational Institution to commemorate the completion of ten years of service by its employees. Having previously visited Somnath and Dwarka, this journey offered her another deeply enriching spiritual experience.
Dr. Nagalakshmi was particularly impressed by the meticulous planning and thoughtful organisation of the trip. She appreciated how the management had taken care of even the smallest logistical details, ensuring a smooth and comfortable pilgrimage for everyone. The pilgrimage was thoughtfully organised to ensure that all employees, irrespective of their designation or seniority, received the same arrangements and care, reflecting the institution’s spirit of inclusivity and equality. The journey was made even more special by the collective devotion of her fellow travellers, many of whom enthusiastically participated in chanting sacred slokas, including the Mahamrityunjaya Mantra.
Although a flood alert led to the suspension of boat services for devotees attending the Ganga Aarti, the group had the opportunity to visit several sacred sites in Varanasi, including Assi Ghat and Manikarnika Ghat. For Dr. Nagalakshmi, the darshan of Lord Rama in Ayodhya was an unforgettable moment. Recalling her first glimpse of the deity, she shared, “We could feel the vibration there. I cannot express the experience in words.” Her words reflect the profound spiritual connection and sense of divinity she experienced during the visit.
Her experience at Kashi was equally moving. Having visited several renowned temples in South India, where devotees often spend two to three hours waiting for darshan, she was pleasantly surprised by the efficient arrangements at Kashi Vishwanath Temple. The darshan was completed in approximately 30 minutes, and she was impressed by the excellent crowd management by the local authorities.
One of the most cherished moments of her pilgrimage was the opportunity to offer milk to Lord Vishwanath. As she moved closer to the sanctum sanctorum, she felt an intense spiritual energy that made the experience deeply personal and divine. Reflecting on the journey, Dr. Nagalakshmi expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the leadership of New Horizon Educational Institution for making this sacred experience possible.
“A wholehearted thank you to our dear Chairman Sir, Dr. Mohan Manghnani, and the entire New Horizon Management Team for their efforts in sending so many employees to these sacred places.”
