The Research and Development Cell and IQAC, in association with the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), organised monthly/quarterly review meetings to monitor faculty research activities and paper publications during the academic reporting period from Quarter 1 (September 2025) to Quarter 4 (August 2026). A total of 36 faculty members participated in the review process.

The main objective of the meeting was to review and monitor the progress of faculty research and paper publications, particularly in ‘Scopus’ and ‘Web of Science’ indexed journals, and identify and address publication-related bottlenecks such as Journal Selection, Scopus Verification, No Access Issues, and Article Processing Charges (APC) through appropriate mentoring and guidance. The review process aims to assess faculty participation and interest in research, motivate faculty members to initiate research and publication activities, and provide the necessary guidance and resources. To ensure systematic monitoring and continuous improvement, research progress will be reviewed at appropriate stages during the academic cycle, with follow-up monitoring as required. Further, every Monday and Tuesday at 2:00 pm is a time slot allotted exclusively for Research and Patent-related activities. The initiative also aims to improve the quality and quantity of research publications by encouraging research collaboration, creating awareness on IPR and patents, facilitating the conversion of suitable research outcomes into patents, and setting periodic research and publication targets.
