New Horizon College, Kasturinagar, Bengaluru, celebrated India’s 80th Independence Day on 15 August 2026 under the theme “Marching Towards Viksit Bharat @ 2047.” The event commenced at 8:30 AM with the singing of the National Song, followed by the hoisting of the National Flag and the rendition of the National Anthem, supported by the NCC cadets, who displayed discipline, precision and ceremonial decorum with a Band set team. Following the welcome address, Chief Guest Subedar Anand Mukhia addressed the gathering, emphasizing discipline, patriotism, and national service. The celebration featured vibrant cultural dance performances by PUC and Degree students celebrating India’s diversity, alongside an NCC demonstration showcasing leadership and teamwork, before concluding with a formal Vote of Thanks. |
