The Anti-Sexual Harassment Committee and Anti-Ragging Committee organised a seminar titled “Safe Campus: Awareness on Anti-Ragging and Prevention of Sexual Harassment” on 11 August 2026 at 10:00 AM. Ms. Ravitha Prabhakaran, Founder of PAT, served as the resource person. The seminar focused on creating awareness among students about maintaining a safe, inclusive and respectful campus environment.

The resource person explained the legal framework related to ragging and sexual harassment and highlighted students’ rights and responsibilities. The seminar covered institutional complaint mechanisms, cyber safety, gender sensitivity, consent and respectful behaviour. Students actively participated in the discussion and clarified their doubts through an interactive question-and-answer session.

The seminar helped students understand preventive measures and the support mechanisms available within the institution. It concluded by emphasising responsible conduct, mutual respect and the collective responsibility of students to prevent ragging and sexual harassment and uphold ethical values.
