Description
of the Event

This report outlines a 7-day training programme designed to enhance students’ practical knowledge and proficiency in MS Office tools. The programme aimed to develop professional documentation, data management, and presentation skills aligned with industry and academic requirements.

Day 1, students learned the Excel interface, workbook basics, file operations, data entry, and cell formatting.

Day 2 focused on formulas and functions such as SUM, AVERAGE, MIN, MAX, COUNT, along with cell referencing, autofill, and conditional formatting.

Day 3 introduced tables, IF and nested IF functions, text and date functions, sorting, and filtering.

Day 4 covered advanced Excel tools including VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, data validation, charts, PivotTables, and slicers. On

Day 5, students explored What-If Analysis, Goal Seek, Scenario Manager, and dashboard creation for decision-making and reporting.

Day 6 shifted to PowerPoint, where students learned presentation creation, slide design, transitions, and delivery techniques.

Day 7 focused on Word, including document creation, formatting, page setup, tables, and images.

Overall, the programme provided hands-on experience, improving students’ efficiency, analytical ability, and confidence in using MS Office tools effectively.
