Report | The Research and Development Cell, in association with IIC organised a Faculty Development Programme for all Undergraduate faculties. 35 Faculties participated in the event. The resource person was Dr. Agalya V, Head – IPR Cell, New Horizon College of Engineering, Bangalore. The objectives of “Patent Law in Practice: Examination, Objections and Grant” for faculties are to equip them with in-depth knowledge of the patent examination process, understand patent office procedures and handling objections, enable them to guide students on patent filing and grant, and enhance research and innovation capabilities. Upon completion, the participants could explain the patent examination and grant process, which would help students navigate patent office objections, guide students in drafting effective patent applications, and enhance collaboration on IP and patent-related research, ultimately fostering a culture of innovation and IP awareness. |
