The Department of Computer Science organised a One Week Swachhata Programme under the guidance of AICTE, featuring a series of impactful activities that promoted cleanliness, sustainability, and responsible waste management across the campus. The programme included Special Campaign 5.0 aimed at improving campus hygiene, a creative Poster Making Competition and presentation to spread Swachhata awareness, and an engaging “Best Out of Waste” activity that encouraged students to creatively reuse discarded materials. Awareness on banned plastics was reinforced through the distribution of paper and cloth bags, inspiring the adoption of eco-friendly alternatives. The week concluded with an informative seminar on E-waste Management, educating participants on proper disposal practices and environmental conservation. The primary objective was to instil a strong sense of cleanliness, environmental responsibility, and sustainable living among students while promoting long-term eco-conscious habits and active participation in maintaining a clean and healthy campus.
