The National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit of New Horizon College Kasturinagar celebrated “NSS Day” on 24th September 2025 with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit. The celebration aimed to highlight the values of selfless service, social responsibility, and youth empowerment among students.

The program commenced with the hoisting of the NSS Flag by the Principal, followed by the recitation of the “NSS Song”, which inspired all the volunteers to dedicate themselves to the motto   “Not Me, But You”. The song created an atmosphere of unity and service.

A special attraction of the day was the unveiling of the NSS Badge and the NSS T-Shirt, symbolizing the pride, unity, and identity of all volunteers. The ceremony was graced by the Chief Guest,
Mr. Swasthik Kanyadi , Reporter, Asianet Suvarna News Channel who addressed the gathering with an inspiring speech on the importance of youth participation in nation-building and the role of NSS in shaping socially responsible citizens.
