The Patent Drafting Workshop, held on 11th September 2024, focused on Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) with a strong emphasis on the significance of patent protection. Participants were guided through the patent drafting process, from identifying invention areas to drafting the background, setting objectives, and understanding the legal framework. The session also explored different forms of intellectual property, including trademarks, copyrights, geographical indications, and industrial designs. Designed to equip students and faculty with the skills to protect their innovations through patents, the workshop saw active participation from 48 students and 3 faculty members.
