OBJECTIVE:
- To understand how softwaretesting is important in software development process, to provide a quality software product to the customer.
Session started at 03:00PM by welcoming the session speaker of the dayby Vinutha 3rd sem BCA. The Speaker of the Session was Ms. Swetha P presentedthe keynote address on “Software Testing”. She discussed the basic ideas of having software testing in Software development process, she gave the suitable real-life examples which are essential for the understanding of technology. She projected a clear understanding and importance of software testing and how it impacts the quality of the product. She inspired the audience by lively interacting on topics
She emphasized on software testing is the used to help identify the correctness, completeness, security, and quality of developed computer software. Testing is a process of technical investigation, performed on behalf of stakeholders, that is intended to reveal quality-related information about the product.
She presented Software Testing is the process of executing software in a controlled manner; in order to answer the question ?Does this software behave as specified?? Software testing is used in association with Verification and Validation. Verification is the checking of or testing of items, including software, for conformance and consistency with an associated specification. Software testing is just one kind of verification, which also uses techniques as reviews, inspections, walk-through. Validation is the process of checking what has been specified is what the user actually wanted.
The feedback about the session was collected from all the participants to improve the sessions that will be conducted in the mere future.
This program was arranged in the motive of sharing the knowledge and practical experience of Ms.Swetha P, who has years of experience in Software testing. The overall organization and deliverance of the Webinar was helpful and satisfied the participants.
