The Department of Commerce, in association with IIC, organised a visit to the Incubation Centre and AICTE Lab at New Horizon College of Engineering. The visit was informative and inspiring as it provided insights into innovation and entrepreneurship.

The Incubation Centre supports students with innovative ideas and entrepreneurial goals by helping them transform concepts into real business ventures. During the visit, mentors explained how startups are guided from the idea stage to the final product. The importance of planning, teamwork, and market research in building successful startups was highlighted.

Various student projects such as mobile applications, IoT-based devices, and smart technology solutions were observed. The centre provided facilities like workspaces, internet access, mentoring support, and prototype development tools, encouraging creativity and problem-solving skills.

The visit also included the AICTE Lab, established under the guidance of the All India Council for Technical Education. The lab is equipped with advanced tools such as 3D printers, robotics kits, CNC machines, and electronic workstations. The instructor demonstrated several student projects and explained their working.

The lab focuses on hands-on training, skill development, and bridging the gap between theory and practical implementation. Overall, the visit provided valuable exposure to entrepreneurship and modern technological practices, making it a beneficial learning experience.
