Trekking to Achalu betta

Brief Description of the Event: The NSS Unit of New Horizon College, Kasturinagar, organized an adventurous Trekking and Plantation Drive at Achalu Betta, near Kanakapura. The event aimed to promote physical fitness, environmental awareness, and teamwork among students while offering them an opportunity to reconnect with nature.

The volunteers embarked on a scenic trek through lush green trails, experiencing the serene beauty of the natural landscape. Along the way, they actively participated in a plantation drive, planting saplings to support reforestation and contribute to a cleaner, greener environment.

Objectives of the Event:

  • To promote physical fitness and a spirit of adventure among students.
  • To raise awareness about the importance of environmental conservation.
