The seminar on “Resistance to Change in Organizations and How to Overcome It” was organized for II Semester BBA students to create awareness about the challenges organizations face while implementing change and the ways to manage such resistance effectively. The session helped students understand the concept of resistance to change, its impact on organizational growth, and the common reasons behind it, such as fear of the unknown, lack of communication, job insecurity, and organizational culture.

The Resource Person was Ms. Prerana Sharma, Team Manager at Telstra, who shared valuable insights on strategies to overcome resistance, including effective communication, employee participation, training, and supportive leadership. The seminar also emphasized the importance of adaptability, teamwork, and leadership skills in successfully implementing organizational change and encouraged students to develop a positive attitude toward change in professional environments.
