The Department of Commerce held a seminar to celebrate National Education Day on November 11, 2024, at 10 a.m. in the Seminar Hall. The event’s goal was to raise students’ awareness about the significance of National Education Day, which commemorates the birth anniversary of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, India’s first education minister after independence. Dr. William, Lead Mentor at IMS Bangalore, was the chief guest for the program. In his speech, he emphasized how fortunate the students are to have access to education, which differs from many others. Dr. William discussed the various opportunities a good education can offer and stressed that education is vital for a nation’s development. He encouraged students to contribute positively to society, highlighting the importance of research and development. He also noted that one of the most significant benefits of a quality education is the freedom to choose one’s career path. |
