| The Department of Commerce in association with Career Counselling and Guidance Cell organized a seminar on “Competitive Exams – Pathway to Career Success” on 26/02/2026 for the II Semester B.COM students. The Resource Person of the Seminar was Chethana V, Chief Executive Officer at Statecraft IAS Academy. The program was conducted to create awareness among students about various competitive examinations and their role in building a successful career. The speaker discussed opportunities available through civil services, banking, SSC, and other national and state-level examinations. The session was conducted to guide students about different competitive exams, their eligibility criteria, syllabus, and effective preparation strategies. The importance of early preparation, proper study planning, and staying updated with current affairs was also highlighted. Overall, the session was informative and inspiring, guiding students to explore career opportunities in government and professional sectors through competitive examinations and equipping them with the knowledge needed to plan their future careers.
