The Department of Commerce, in collaboration with the Career Counselling and Guidance Cell, organized an insightful session on “Personal Grooming in Career Development” for the students of I Semester B.Com on 12th November 2025. The objective of the program was to create awareness among students about the importance of personal grooming and professional etiquette in enhancing their career prospects.

The resource person, Mr. Mohana Rao Koppale, shared his expertise on various aspects of personal presentation, including attire, body language, communication skills, and professional behavior. He emphasized how first impressions play a vital role during interviews and workplace interactions. Through practical examples and interactive discussions, he motivated students to develop self-confidence and maintain a positive attitude.

The session proved highly beneficial for the students as it helped them understand the relevance of grooming not only in professional settings but also in their everyday lives. Students actively participated and expressed that the program enhanced their awareness of career-oriented behavioral standards.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks, acknowledging the efforts of the resource person and the organizing committees for arranging such a valuable session.
