NHC-K Police Marshals Club conducted an impactful awareness visit to Maarga – a Psychiatric hospital and De-addiction Center. Selected students serving as police marshals were given a unique opportunity to understand the significance of de-addiction and its transformative process. The visit aimed to create awareness among students about the importance of building a drug-free future by highlighting the support mechanisms available to those battling addiction. They were also educated on resisting peer pressure related to drugs and gained a deeper understanding of the mental trauma experienced by individuals struggling with addiction. This initiative is part of the club’s ongoing efforts to promote a healthier, drug-free campus and community environment.
