Objective

On 16th January 2026, National Startup Day was celebrated at New Horizon College, Kasturinagar with an inspiring talk delivered by
Mr. Surendran Unni, Director of Via Media Communications.

During the session, Mr. Unni emphasised the importance of innovation and entrepreneurship, highlighting the vital role that start-ups play in driving economic growth and creating employment opportunities. He encouraged students to look beyond conventional career paths and consider entrepreneurial ventures by identifying real-world challenges and developing innovative solutions. He further motivated students to cultivate an entrepreneurial mindset, take considered risks, and transform creative ideas into meaningful ventures.

The session was both informative and inspiring, prompting students to view start-ups as a promising and rewarding career option.
