LITERARY CLUB
Vision
To cultivate a vibrant literary culture within the institution that inspires creativity, critical thinking, intellectual dialogue, and a lifelong love for literature and language.
Mission
- To provide a dynamic platform for students to explore and express their literary talents in various forms such as poetry, essays, short stories, debates, and creative writing.
- To encourage reading habits and appreciation of classical and contemporary literature.
- To enhance communication skills, analytical thinking, and confidence among students.
- To promote multilingual literary engagement reflecting cultural diversity.
- To organise literary events, competitions, workshops, and guest lectures to enrich academic and creative exposure.
Objectives
- To conduct regular literary activities such as debates, elocution, storytelling, poetry recitation, book reviews, and creative writing sessions.
- To celebrate important literary days and commemorate renowned writers and poets.
- To publish students’ creative works in the college magazine or newsletters.
- To collaborate with other clubs and departments for interdisciplinary literary events.
- To identify and nurture budding writers, speakers, and performers.
- To prepare students for intercollegiate literary competitions.
