The Department of Commerce, in collaboration with the Entrepreneurship Cell (E-Cell) and the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), successfully organized the Intra-Institution Ideathon Competition 2025. The competition aimed to foster creativity, promote an entrepreneurial mindset, and encourage students to develop innovative solutions to real-world challenges.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students across various departments. A total of 26 teams registered for the competition, out of which 20 teams were shortlisted, and finally, 16 teams qualified for the final round. The shortlisted teams presented creative and impactful ideas, showcasing their ability to think critically, innovate, and propose feasible solutions.
The competition commenced with a formal inauguration, followed by idea presentations from the participating teams. Each team was allotted a specific duration to pitch their concepts, after which a panel of esteemed judges evaluated their presentations. The judges appreciated the participants’ creativity, problem-solving abilities, and presentation skills.
The Ideathon served as a valuable platform for students to refine their ideas, receive constructive feedback, and gain exposure to entrepreneurial thinking. The top-performing teams were honored with certificates and trophies for their outstanding contributions.
The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks, acknowledging the dedicated efforts of the organizing committee, faculty members, student volunteers, and participants. The competition not only inspired innovation but also strengthened the institution’s commitment to nurturing young entrepreneurs and fostering a culture of creativity and excellence.
