Industrial Visit to Ati Motors

Department: Department of Management

Date: 16.10.2025   |   Time: From 9:30 AM onwards

The industrial visit to ATI Motors, an autonomous robots manufacturing company, provided V Semester BBA students with a unique opportunity to explore the intersection of technology and business. During the visit, students witnessed firsthand the production process of autonomous moving robots (AMRs) designed to enhance workplace safety and efficiency.

Objectives: The visit aimed to bridge theoretical knowledge with practical application, providing students exposure to real-world industry practices. It encouraged creative thinking and problem-solving abilities among participants while helping them stay updated on the latest technologies and practices in the field.

Key Observations: Students observed the complete assembly-line process for AMRs, including chassis assembly, sensor integration, and software calibration. The company emphasized safety protocols and quality checks at every stage. Demonstrations showed how AMRs navigate warehouses and collaborate with human workers, while engineers discussed challenges related to scaling production and maintaining product reliability.

Learnings and Benefits: The visit provided students with valuable insights into supply chain and operations management concepts. They gained an understanding of the product lifecycle from design to deployment and learned how automation technologies influence business operations. The exposure improved their analytical and problem-solving skills through real-world observation of engineering and process workflows.

Acknowledgements: The Department of Management expresses sincere gratitude to the management and technical team at ATI Motors for their hospitality and informative demonstrations. Appreciation is also extended to the faculty members who coordinated and supervised the visit, ensuring its success.
