As part of the environmental studies curriculum, we arranged a field trip to Bannerghatta Biological Park on October 9, 2024, for the first-semester BCA students. The primary aim of this visit was to provide students with hands-on experience in understanding biodiversity, conservation efforts, and the critical role wildlife plays in maintaining ecological balance. This field trip sought to enrich the theoretical knowledge students had gained in the classroom by offering them real-life examples of diverse flora and fauna. Additionally, it provided an opportunity to delve into various aspects of wildlife conservation and environmental sustainability, effectively reinforcing the concepts covered in environmental studies.
