The spirit of athleticism and academic excellence converged on January 23, 2026, as New Horizon College, Kasturinagar, celebrated its Annual Sports Meet. Held at the expansive NHC Marathahalli Knowledge Park Ground, the event brought together students from across departments for a day of high-octane competition and sportsmanship.

An Elite Commencement

The meet was graced by our esteemed Chief Guest, Mr. Girish C, General Manager of Gopalan Sports Centre and Vice President of the Netball Federation of India. His presence provided immense inspiration to our aspiring athletes. During his address, Mr. Girish highlighted the critical link between physical discipline and long-term career success, setting a professional tone for the day’s events.

Highlights of the Meet

The day kicked off with a disciplined March Past, where students from BCA, BBA, and B.Com marched in perfect synchronization, representing their respective houses with pride.

• Track & Field: Explosive performances in the 100m and 200m sprints saw new records being set.

• Team Spirit: Inter-departmental matches in Volleyball and Kabaddi showcased the grit and coordination of our “New Horizonites.”

• Academic Synergy: The meet also recognized academic achievers, reinforcing the college’s commitment to a holistic 360-degree development model.
