Objective :
To provide a comprehensive understanding of the functions and operations of Data Science in Software Industry. Data Science is a detailed study of the flow of information from the colossal amounts of data present in an organization’s repository. It involves obtaining meaningful insights from raw and unstructured data which is processed through analytical, programming, and business skills. Predictive learning is a technique of machine learning in which an agent tries to build a model of its environment by trying out different actions in various circumstances. The speaker of the session Mr. Purnendu Mukherjee, Data Scientist, Ab-Inbev Pvt Limited, explained the concepts of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load), Introduction to Predictive modelling in Data science and Machine learning for final year BCA students. He is highly experienced with 15+ years in the IT field with strong knowledge in Data Science.
Outcome As a result of the participation in this Seminar Program, students got to know the ETL (Extraction,Transform and Loading) operations in Data Science.
