Steve Jobs Once Said, ‘People with Passion Can Change the World’

An insightful Session on “Creativity with Passion Leads to Success” was held on 9thSeptember 2020 for the students of I year B.Com. The Resource Person was Lion Kishore Srinivasan, an RJ at All India Radio, Chennai and a life coach, trainer, placement consultant, writer, lyricist, singer and social volunteer, serving Lions club.

Mary Lou Cook said, “Creativity is inventing, experimenting, growing, taking risks, breaking rules, making mistakes and having fun.” Having fun is part of the human experiment that not only provides a sense of purpose, but builds our humanity and scales our ability to succeed. Most of us don’t allow ourselves a creative outlet or space because we don’t see the value in it if it doesn’t lead to a specific outcome.

Albert Einstein didn’t speak until the age of four. His teachers called him lazy and thought he would amount to nothing – their perception, clearly not the reality. Fortunately, he did not accept others’ perception of him, and he found his own success.

Resource Person highlighted on key areas to achieve success. He emphasized “Follow Your Passion, and Success Will Follow” It shall reflect on your work and makes you feel elated.

The session turned out to be an interactive one. The examples highlighted through short film, real life heroes enabled student to realize that success can be achieved through Passion. Creativity is related to imagination and imagination is related to innovation. Innovation itself is unique for everyone that conceives a fresh idea and converts the idea into a successful business. “Creativity is seeing the same thing but thinking differently.”
