OBJECTIVE:
“Nothing is as far away as one minute ago”.
To provide a platform to the students to exhibit their knowledge on current affairs and communication skills.
Highlights of the event:
21st May 2021 afternoon began pleasant, with students from BCom, BCA and BBA bubbling with energy to witness the inter department Just a Minute Competition. The judges for the event were Assistant Professor Ms. Jyothi Jayaraj HOD, Department of Management and Assistant Professor Ms. Vybhavi Balasundar, Department of Computer Science.
Just a Minute competition tests student’s creativity, presence of mind and command over language all within a span of one minute. It invites the student to speak on a topic without hesitation, repetition or deviation.
JAM session provided a platform for the students to showcase their talent and expertise in speech.
with 30 participants from across the departments displaying their skills and spoke enthusiastically on the chosen topics. They were judged for spontaneity, content, and fluency in their speech. The session witnessed enthusiastic participation from students.
Conclusion:
It motivated the students to gather their thoughts on the given topic and to exhibit their talent on communicating it in just a minute duration.
