The Department of Computer Science organised a one-day workshop titled “AI and Innovation Sprints: Rapid Prototyping for Digital Transformation and Mastering SDLC Models: From Waterfall to Agile and DevOps” for the students of BCA V Semester. The resource person for the workshop was Ms. Pallavi S, Full Stack Engineer, Maksasoft, Bangalore.

The workshop was conducted for one day to ensure a meaningful and engaging experience for all participants. A total of 53 students participated in the programme. The key objective of the workshop was to promote awareness of AI-driven innovation and modern software development practices.

The programme focused on encouraging rapid prototyping, enhancing understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) models, and adopting Agile and DevOps approaches to equip students with industry-relevant skills. This initiative enlightened students by strengthening their project development capabilities and preparing them to effectively address real-world digital transformation challenges.

The Department of Computer Science, in association with the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), organised an insightful seminar titled “Innovation and Entrepreneurship Outreach Programme” on 21st and 22nd November 2025. The event was designed to educate and inspire Government school students and faculty members on the significance of nurturing early-stage ideas and transforming them into sustainable and viable business concepts.

The primary objective of the programme was to cultivate a strong spirit of innovation and entrepreneurship among young learners through interactive sessions, hands-on activities, and engaging discussions. With the involvement of Atal Tinkering Labs (ATLs) and School Innovation Councils (SICs), students were introduced to creative thinking, structured problem-solving approaches, and essential entrepreneurial skills, empowering them to explore innovative solutions and develop a forward-thinking mindset from an early stage.
